A postal code also known as a post code, postcode or zip codes in various countries. Basically it is a series of letters and/or digits appended to a postal address for the purpose of sorting mail. Once postal codes were introduced, other applications became possible. The Postal code of Canada is a string of 6 characters long alpha-numeric code. They are in the format of A0A 0A0, where A denotes an alphabet and 0 denotes a digit.
